Phonetically Yours: Peabody Elementary

Meredith is pretty excited about going to Peabody Elementary. It's in the Cooper Young neighborhood, and since we're in the Snowden district, we (by we I mean Chris) are going to have to stand in line at the crack of dawn on April 6th (Chris' birthday) in order to have a chance at getting Meredith into Peabody. We had no idea she was aware of this medievally torturous process, until she prayed about it before dinner "Dear God, please let Daddy be able to stand in line so that I can go to Peabody Elementary." She's also highly offended if anyone refers to the school as Peabody. It is Peabody Elementary.

So sweet! I'll have to remember the "elementary" thing when I'm around her.

Have fun waiting in line. We had that at our school last year. We had parents spend the night on the front lawn. Fun Fun!

Oh yes, we're looking forward to standing in line for open enrollment ourselves in a few years. We're considering Peabody and Idlewild so you'll have to fill me in on your experience at Peabody.
