Adjectively Yours

Meredith and I went to the library today during our 40 minutes of pre-Madeline time. We did the same stairs/escalator/elevator routine that brings joy to so many little Memphians. We picked out a book about emergency vehicles, cause we're toeing that line twixt fascination and OCD. And we practiced our spelling words. It went something like this.

Me: Meredith, spell frog, as in "The frog jumped."
Her: That's fine, mom, but if you want to be more adjectively, you should say "The green frog jumped onto the pretty lily pad in the pond."

Well. She's right.

My Girls After School*

* I have chosen to capitalize "after" because it is 5 or more letters. This note is for JBS, who probably will never see it. Nevertheless.

Also, Meredith was the guest photographer for several days at Window 365. You can go here to see what she saw.

One for the Grandparents

Well, it's not too exciting, but it's happy. So if you're stuck in your house (my poor Texas friends!) or you're a grandparent, enjoy.
