Chris and I have never been huge fans of Halloween. We don't like scary things. And I, for one, DO NOT LIKE TO DRESS UP. But two years olds make it fun. So does chocolate. Anyway, here's some Halloween frivolity.
Um, Daddy, I think you're making a really big mess.
No, Daddy, NO!
She did love her costume, but didn't want to smile.
Hmmm...Just like last year.
I had to make sure you saw my favorite part of the costume--the tail. Hilarious. Cracked me up all day long.

Kate, that was a great post, as are all your posts. I don't thank you enough for keeping the blog current. I love looking at it at work. You are so much more talented than I am. (But you are still very lucky to be married to me.)
xo
What a cute little moo moo, Meredith is !
I too, have never been into Halloween before but I have to say this year we had the greatest time with Olly, he certainly got into it.
Lets get together soon.
For such a happy baby those faces are amazing - but of course adorable - Warning! is there a sweet old fashioned doll that has to be turned into "little Bo-Peep who lost her sheep"(weeping) in her future?
First of all, I have to agree with your very sweet husband. I love reading your blog! You have a way with words, and I think you need to write a book or something. Meredith will enjoy reading it someday.
I'm glad you guys still celebrated halloween because Meredith was a cute cow! I love the tail, too.
Me thinks I just for the first time saw the face of Jack
Petrie in that top photo of
Chris. Perhaps it was just the angle or perhaps Chris's
looks are changing as he gets older.
