A Bad Day at the Lake is Better than A Good Day Elsewhere...

And it wasn't even a bad day...really. Just cloudy. So we started off with some chalk play, moved on to playing in the car, and then headed out in the boat. And then Sunday was gorgeous. And the whole weekend was utterly relaxing, despite the fact that our numbers have grown and there was a whole lot of humanity in that little lake house. God bless the lake, and God bless the Natural State.

    I was surprised to see the pic of Madeline at 3 months in lake water cuz Colo. lakes are so cold, but then i remembered Lake Wylie in S. Carolina was about 80degrees or warmer. Lakes are the best of times for families, and Chris your hair is growing out! I like it.
